The drawing Preview City explores the idea of commercial space as location for try-outs instead of purchasing. Physical space, like the virtual environment of a dating app, could charge for ‘unlocking’ more options, and architecture consequently becomes showcases.

Preview City depicts three such fictional scenarios: a speed date restaurant with rotating split table for multiple matches during one meal; a conveyor belt fitting room that provides fast fashion outfits for style remix; a gym metro that runs quick fitness classes trials for commuters.

‘Preview’ is the new urban lifestyle here. Appetite for possibilities is satisfied through endless browsing, and commitment to the final decision is infinitely postponed.
